Josh Lincoln signs for Bucks

Welcome to Buckinghamshire, Josh Lincoln!
The former Berkshire all-rounder will join up with Bucks Men for the upcoming 2026 season.
Josh joins Bucks Cricket with five years of National Counties experience at Berkshire, including a match-defining 124 (98) in the NCCA Championship Final 2024, as well as a five-wicket-haul (5-52) against Devon last season.
We spoke with our latest signing ahead of his move across the border and asked him what he's aiming to achieve in 2026.
Here’s what he had to say:

Q1.
Answer: Yes, I’m very much looking forward to meeting up with the squad.

Q2.
Answer: I’m a middle-order batsman and seaming all-rounder coming into my fifth year of NCCA cricket, having played the past four with my childhood county, Berkshire.

Q3.
Answer: Over recent years, Bucks have had great success in the red ball, winning two out of the past three Championship Finals.
First and foremost, the goal is to win silverware.

Men's Captain Conner Haddow is delighted with the arrival: "I’m buzzing, to be honest.
"He’s one of those players who contributes in all departments and raises the standard around him.
"With the ball, he has great skills at the death, which is massive in tight games.
"Overall, he’s the kind of player who can impact games in multiple ways, and I’m certain he’ll contribute in a lot of games for us this season.

Bertie Foreman signs for Bucks

Welcome to Buckinghamshire, Bertie Foreman!
The former Sussex all-rounder will join up with Bucks Men for the upcoming 2026 season.
Bertie joins Bucks Cricket with three years of professional experience at Sussex, including a loan spell at Worcestershire last season, as well as a few series under his belt for England U19s against the likes of Australia and Sri Lanka.
We spoke with our latest signing ahead of his move to Bucks and asked him what he's aiming to achieve in 2026.

Answer: Really excited to be playing for Bucks.

Answer: I'm an off-spinning all-rounder who came through the Sussex pathway and was signed there for the last three years.

Answer: I think the main goal would be to win a white-ball competition with the guys.

Bucks Cricket CIO is delighted to welcome Anuj Sharma and Laura Hall to its Board of Trustees.
Anuj joined the Trustees at its last meeting in November, while Laura joined at the start of the 2025.
Anuj is Global Technical Programme Lead for Santander Digital Services and explained his motivation for joining the Trustees:

For Junior Cricketers and their Parents: put the enjoyment of the game first (players who enjoy cricket stay in the game longer and improve more over time), then put the will to improve second and work on all areas of your game (skills, physical, tactical and emotional).
Enjoyment and continual improvement will take you further than heaping pressure on yourself to perform.
For Clubs: the most sustainable clubs we see are those that invest deliberately in people, not just teams - continually building a broad volunteer base and ensuring the Cricket Club is a place the whole family wants to spend their summer evenings and weekends.
Please keep investing time and effort - and getting the right coaches and organisers on board – in Women and Girls’ Cricket.

We are delighted to share that Cara Duggan has been confirmed as the Buckinghamshire Women’s Captain for the 2026 season, continuing her role for a fourth year.
The all-rounder began her journey with Bucks Girls U11s, and after scoring 1000 runs and 50 wickets for Bucks Women 1st XI, became our 9th Women's Capped Player.
Cara took on the role of Captain in 2023, and enjoyed some success by reaching the Tier 3 Vitality Blast Final, as well as a 4th placed finish in the Metro Bank One Day Cup.
We spoke with our Women’s Captain and asked her what we can expect in the upcoming 2026 season.

Answer: It feels really good, I love the girls and Bucks is my home.

Conner Haddow to captain Bucks Men

We are thrilled to announce that Conner Haddow has been appointed as the Buckinghamshire Men’s Captain for the 2026 season, taking over the role from Alexei Kervezee.
The left-arm spinner began his journey within the Bucks Pathway and has worked his way up to making over 60 appearances for the Men’s 1st XI.
Conner takes on the role of Captain having won two NCCA Championships (2023 & 2025) as well as divisional titles, and he is just six wickets away from reaching 200 in National Counties cricket.
We spoke with our new Men’s Captain and asked him what we can expect in the upcoming 2026 season.
Here’s what he had to say:

Q1.
Answer: It is a real honour to captain my native county.

Answer: I hope to be someone the players can trust and someone who leads by example.

Answer: With Cubby [Alexei Kervezee] leaving after five seasons it will be a huge change.

Bucks achieves ECB Ready to Invest Status

We are delighted to share that Bucks Cricket has successfully achieved ECB Ready to Invest status!
Since becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in October 2023, we've created a connection to every level of the game across our county - from grassroots programmes to performance pathways.

Through our work, we:

- Represent Buckinghamshire from beyond Milton Keynes in the North, and Marlow in the South

- Deliver over 4,500 hours of coaching and 250+ matchdays

- Inspire over 10,000 children with annual primary school cricket programmes

- Support 98 affilliated cricket clubs, helping them to be vibrant, and community-centred

- Break down barries to participation, including through our 9 street cricket hubs, 4 accessible women's projects and 4 disability hubs

Tom Raymond-Hill, Head of Network, Recreational Game - ECB, praised our work, saying: "This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of your team at Buckinghamshire, both executive and non-executive, that you have achieved compliance with the CPA standards and have investible strategic and operational plans.

Matt Pardoe signs for Bucks

Welcome to Buckinghamshire, Matt Pardoe!
The former Herefordshire captain will join the club as our Men’s Professional and Vice-Captain for the upcoming 2026 season.
Matt joins Bucks Cricket with 10 years of National Counties experience, over 4,000 runs and more than 125 wickets to his name, as well as over 2,000 runs as a professional at Worcestershire.
We spoke with our new Men's Vice-Captain ahead of his move to Bucks and asked him what he hopes to bring to the team.
Here’s what he had to say:

Answer: I’ve only played against Bucks once in recent years, in a pre-season friendly, but it was a good contest.

Q2.
Answer: I’m an ex-professional at Worcestershire and then spent 10 years as captain at Herefordshire, so I’ve had plenty of experience at National Counties level.

Answer: I just want to show why I’ve played for as long as I have and why I still have the desire to keep playing.

Alexei Kervezee retires after six seasons

We are delighted to confirm that Men’s Captain Alexei Kervezee has been appointed Worcestershire CCC 2nd XI coach and has therefore made the decision to retire from National Counties cricket.
Alexei departs Bucks Cricket as a five-time winner - two NCCA Championships, two Eastern Division 1 titles, one Eastern Division 2 title - as well as two NCCA Showcase victories over Surrey and Leicestershire.
We caught up with Alexei to hear his reflections on his time at Bucks, the highlights he’ll never forget, and what’s next for him in his career.
Here’s what he had to say:

Q1.
Answer: Winning the championship twice, once as a player and once as a captain.

Q2.
Answer: Hopefully professional, talented, thoughtful, hardworking/driven, honest and caring.

Q3.
Answer: Lifelong friends.

Q4.
Answer: I’ve just taken over the head 2nd team/assistant coach role at Worcestershire.

Bucks Cricket CIO’s Chairman, Ian Hodgson, said: "Alexei made his Bucks CCC debut in 2020 and became captain in 2025.
"He produced many match-winning individual performances for Bucks during those years, but at least as importantly, he was enormously influential for the whole squad with advice on and off the field.
"He never gave less than 100%, and it was an easy decision to appoint him captain on Tom Hampton’s retirement.
"His captaincy and own performances on the field with a young and inexperienced side in all three forms of the game were excellent and resulted in our winning the Championship for the second time in three years — a quite remarkable achievement, particularly bearing in mind that only six players played in both finals.
"Alexei was also throughout courteous to all and a wonderful example to our younger players.
"We wish him all success at Worcestershire.

Head of Performance, Jason Harrison added: "When we signed Alexei, we knew we were getting a player with that sought-after ingredient of ‘stardust’.
"He has delivered and more, being part of winning five titles and two showcase victories.
"I can’t thank him enough for what he has done for our county over the last six seasons and wish him well in his fantastic new role at Worcestershire.

Toby Sutliff signs with Northamptonshire CCC Academy
