Following the cancellation of all National Counties League competitions this summer, Bucks have arranged two days of competitive cricket with Oxfordshire this month.
This will take the form of a one-day 50-over contest this Sunday and then a T20 double-header on Sunday August 30. All the matches will take place at Aston Rowant on the Bucks/Oxon border.
With points awarded for each contest, the overall winners will collect the Nurton/York Trophy, named after Oxon's all-time record runs-scorer Mike Nurton and the former Bucks CCC president Stuart York.
For this Sunday's 50-over match, which starts at 10.45, Bucks have named two former professionals in their squad, both of whom will be making their debuts for the county.
Alexei Kervezee, 30-year-old batsman who spent nine seasons with Worcestershire has been registered for Bucks. Born in Namibia, he has played ODIs for Holland.
The other is Eliot Callis, a batsman who played two first-class matches for Yorkshire. He has switched from Bedfordshire to Bucks after joining the High Wycombe club
The Bucks side will again be captained by High Wycombe's Tom Hampton.
