There are many benefits to be gained from affiliation – both from the ECB and from Bucks Cricket. Please note, if you are planning to play any adult league cricket in 2023 you must affiliate to your local County Cricket Board.
Main Club Affiliation (total capped at £100.00 per club)
- £40.00 County Board Affiliation (for all clubs in Buckinghamshire with at least 1 adult team)
- £20.00 Fee for each additional Adult League Team (Including Saturday, Sunday, or Midweek Teams – excludes friendly teams)
- £25.00 Associate Affiliation Fee (for clubs outside Buckinghamshire entering the Bucks Junior Competitions)
Junior Affiliation
- £25.00 Fee for Bucks Clubs with a Junior Section (with zero or one team in the Bucks Junior Competitions)
- £17.50 Fee for each additional Junior Team in a Bucks Junior League or Cup competition
AFFILIATION BENEFITS VIA THE ENGLAND & WALES CRICKET BOARD
- Provision of Play-Cricket Software to allow bespoke build of Club Website
- Access to all benefits of Play Cricket tools & Support (Scoring Apps, Helpdesk)
- Access to the ECB club insurance policy at no cost (if using the ECB Safe Hands Management System)
- Support from ECB Regional Facilities Planning Manager
- Access to ECB funding initiatives (Inspire to Play, County Grants Fund, Interest Free Loans)
- Eligible to participate in ECB Competitions (Junior Vitality Cups, Lady Taverners)
- Access to ECB Courses: Coaching, Safeguarding, Umpires, Scoring
- Access to ECB National Programmes (All Stars & Dyanmos)
- Eligible to nominate club volunteers for ECB Grassroot Cricket Awards
- Access to Safe Hands / Safeguarding Support and guidance
AFFILIATION BENEFITS VIA BUCKS CRICKET
- Eligible to enter Open Age Cricket Leagues & ECB Competitions
- Eligible to enter in the Bucks Junior Competitions
- Support with gaining and maintaining ECB Clubmark status
- Eligible to nominate players for the Bucks Player Pathway Programme
- Assistance with Junior Cricket, Safeguarding, DBS Process and Coach Development
- Support on Club and Facility Development Planning
- Assistance with transitioning children from Chance to Shine School programme to Club, including hosting Schools Kwik Cricket competitions
- Support for Women & Girls Cricket + Disability Cricket
- Eligible to nominate for ECB Grassroots Cricket, ECB Coach Awards & Bucks Cricket Awards
- Access to Northants CCC ticket offer
- Access to Workshops and Roadshows run by Bucks Cricket
