Skill & Game Zones are open to both Bucks Pathway players and players at Bucks clubs, providing additional performance coaching across the winter months, delivered by Bucks Pathway coaches. They have no impact on selections.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

These are all indoors sessions delivered by Bucks Cricket Pathway Coaches.

All-Rounder Skill Zones

These courses will develop cricketers’ batting, bowling and fielding skills and use net scenarios and open hall match-play to enhance the all-round development of junior players in Bucks.

Red Ball Batting

This course focuses on developing batting skills that are prevalent within longer formats of cricket. Using skill specific practices, gameplay and carefully designed scenarios to challenge and enhance the skillsets of junior cricketers.

White Ball Batting

This course focuses on developing the innovation, creativity and bravery that is necessary to succeed within shorter format batting. Using skill specific practices, gameplay and carefully designed scenarios to challenge and enhance the skillsets of junior cricketers.

Wicket Keeping

These courses focus on developing young wicket keepers. Focussing on all aspects of wicket keeping to challenge, support and enhance all areas of modern wicket keeping.

Fielding, Athleticism & Movement

With these courses, Bucks Cricket is acknowledging the growing demands of the game and looking to upskill junior players within their fielding skills, general athleticism and efficiency of movement.

 

What is the cost of these sessions?

The sessions are £10 per hour, therefore cost varies dependent on the number of hours of coaching provided.
