INTRODUCTION

The mantra from the ECB is education for all. This means that whether you are interested in becoming a cricket umpire at a recreational level or for a league, still play cricket and want to know more about the laws or are just interested in learning more about the laws of cricket and how they are implemented, then Bucks ACO have courses for you!

BASICS OF UMPIRING

Are you required to umpire for 5 or 10 overs at the weekend? Are you confident in the white coat? If not we can help…
 
Designed to help you during your 10 over stint of umpiring on game day, the ‘Occasional Umpire’ resource contains the umpiring basics ranging from the key Laws to basic field craft. Use this resource as you wish, view it once or return frequently throughout the season to refresh your knowledge.

This resource is free for you to improve the game day experience for yourselves, your teammates and your opposition!

Bucks ACO Umpire Development Course

This course is aimed at those who have completed the ECB introduction to umpiring course or who have some umpiring experience but wish to improve, update or refresh their knowledge and skills base - Also open to any scorers who wish to better understand the umpiring role.
