Match Preview: Suffolk vs. Bucks Men

Bucks Men will travel to Bury St Edmunds Cricket Club on Sunday to face Suffolk (11:00am) in their first NCCA Championship three-day fixture of the season.

Captain Alexei Kervezee is excited for the change in format: All the lads are looking forward to getting stuck into the NCCA Championship. It’s a format the boys enjoy playing and one that really tests them with what three-day cricket brings.

Kervezee spoke about the young Bucks talent coming through: Ed fully deserves to be on the Northamptonshire Academy. He’s gone from strength to strength and keeps putting performances on the board.

I think it’s a real credit to the Bucks Pathway and the coaches who continue to produce talented cricketers. I’ve been really impressed by the young lads who have played for the first team this year. There’s more coming through as well, which is really exciting.

It’s a great time for Bucks Cricket, with so many boys now playing and coming through the system.
