Bucks Women will travel to Swindon CC on Sunday to face Wiltshire (A) at 10:30am in their return to Metro Bank One Day Cup action, and a bonus point victory could be enough to see Bucks move to the top of the table.
Women's Lead Coach Ben Ungaretti has named a 12-player squad:
Cara Duggan* (Holmer Green)
Rosie Burton-Pye (Stony Stratford)
Molly Carter (Bledlow Ridge)
Natasha MacBean (Chesham)
Charlie Mailey (Long Marston)
Amelia Ridgway (Stony Stratford)
Sky Springett (Beaconsfield)
Caia Stockdale (The Lee)
Tegan Stockdale (The Lee)
Beth Talbot (Stony Stratford)
Annie Townsend (Ballinger Waggoners)
Megs Woodward (Bledlow Village)
Ben Ungaretti is keen to get back on track: Last time we faced Wiltshire, in the T20 final, we pushed hard but came up just short. That result has stayed with us, and now we’ve got the perfect chance to put it right in the 50-over format.
This is a different game — more time to build partnerships, apply pressure, and play our style of cricket. The squad has played lots of cricket since, the focus is there, and we’re ready to be positive, disciplined, and relentless from the first ball.
We respect Wiltshire, but we fear no one. We plan for a really competitive game and I know myself and the team are looking forward to it.
