Sir Evelyn de Rothschild
15 Nov 2022

Bucks CCC are sad to announce the death of their longest-serving Vice-President, Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, on November 7th at the age of 91.
Sir Evelyn, who was elected a member of the club in 1954, became a Vice-President in 1961 following the death of his father.
The family have been connected with Bucks for more than 100 years, generously allowing the County to play on their delightful Ascott Park ground, near Wing.
Ascott Park staged 48 Bucks' Championship matches between 1905 and 2003, as well as hosting the Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy tie against Gloucestershire in 2003.
